In these last years, data transmission has become more and more relevant, with increased demand for controlling and monitoring given by always-connected devices sharing high quality information.
Transmissive requirements have been coupled with new regulations and directives, granting improved safety both for people and environment.
This is the case of the CPR – Construction Product Regulation (UE 305/2011), setting specific requirements for fire behaviour applied to all materials to be used permanently in buildings, including ethernet cables.
